Great food, great service. Especially the great pastries.
Everything we had here was tasty. Great rouladen. Real mashed potatoes. Great Black Forest cake. Wife enjoyed her Sauerbraten. A bit of a drive for us, but we will be back when in the neighborhood.
The food from this place has been nothing but amazing. My wife and I dine in often and have tried a majority of the menu. They are a full service bakery (with a huge display case) and their brownies are to die for. The staff is super friendly and all their German food is home cooked fresh. We used them for catering an event with brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, the most delicious sauerkraut, and the best potato salad I've ever had. It was a huge hit. The pricing was really reasonable. They supplied all the condiments as well as plating and utensils. Thank you Old Salem Cafe for an awesome and easy experience. Highly Recommend!
Everything about this place is amazing. The staff are super friendly, the portions are big, and the food is the best. Everything is cooked fresh in house which might be the only negative of this place. From time to time they are out of something on the menu because they have not had a chance to cook more. But everything on the menu is great, and you can tell the care and love they put into cooking the food. I could not recommend this place enough.
